The Boiler Efficiency Database is a website view of part of the Product Characteristics Database that is used to supply technical data to SAP 2012. The Product Characteristics Database is changed on the first working day of each month to add new entries and amend existing ones, so data from it should not be stored for future reference.
Data for boilers in current production has been provided by boiler manufacturers, who have had an opportunity to check the database entries before publication. Quoted SEDBUK efficiency figures are based on test results submitted by manufacturers and certified by an independent Notified Body (accredited for the testing of boilers to European standards). From October 2010 it is possible for SAP to take into account hot water performance test data for combi boilers.
The data file is not intended for other purposes. The format is not published, and no assumptions should be made about the meaning of data found in it. Files are from www.sedbuk.com and are © Crown Copyright.
